Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters (BGCBigs) is committed to the healthy development of all children.
We provide a diverse array of mentoring and after school programs to meet the needs of our community’s children and youth so they have the tools and supports they need to be successful in school and in life.

As a Recruitment Volunteer you would be helping the volunteer recruitment team engage with our community to bring over 1600 volunteers into our programs. You would support through various activities such as attending events in the community where you would be speaking to prospective volunteers at tabling opportunities or scheduled presentations. Other activities could include postering campaigns across the city, connecting with networks, finding valuable opportunities to engage prospective volunteers, etc.


Children with mentors are:
• 80% more likely to finish high school
• 46% less likely to use drugs
• 27% less likely to use alcohol
• 52% less likely to skip school
• 78% less likely to rely on social assistance as an adult
